지구가 살아 있다
여기저기서 온천수가 뿜어나오고 증기도 나온다
유황냄새가 코를 자극한다
욕망을 뿜어내면 무관심으로 낙하하고
시기를 내놓으면 사랑으로 떨어지고
수천 년 동안 변함이 없는데
세속의 인간도 그랬으면 좋겠다
지구가 살아있다
교만을 뿜어내면 겸손이 내려오고
이기심을 내놓으면 이타심이 접근한다
분노를 분출시키면 위로가 사뿐히 내려오네
지구가 살아있다
걱정 근심 날려보내고
오늘처럼 살고 싶다
온천수는 강물로 흘러가고
해는 서산으로 넘어가는데

The earth is alive
Hot spring water spews with vapor everywhere
Sulfurous fumes arise from hot springs stimulating the nose
It spurts up with desire and falls down with apathy
When the force of envy comes out, love drops
Active yet unchanged for thousands of years.
The spirit of humans can be like this in the world
The earth is alive
When pride springs up, modesty comes down
When selfishness pours out, unselfishness approaches
When it erupts in anger, comfort drips lightly
The earth is alive
Care and worry flies away
I want to live like that today
And I watch as the hot spring water flows into the river
and the sun is sinking beyond the western mountains.
